The BEST Spicy Tuna in Town!

It's funny how I only learned to eat sashimi back in 2014. I was never really fond of raw and I never bothered to try it because I don't like dipping my food in soy sauce nor do I eat wasabi and when eating sashimi, you have to, to kill the bacteria from the raw fish.

But I started eating when I first tried Spicy Tuna Sashimi. This is a mix of flavours in my palette that I can't stop eating once I've started. It's just tuna sashimi sliced into chunks mixed with kewpie mayo, sriracha and tempura flakes. Simple, but really good! I've tried multiple Spicy Tuna Sashimi platters in several Japanese restaurants and sushi bars and still continue to do so but by far, this is still the best for me. My personal favourite is the Spicy Tuna Sashimi from Nihonbashitei.

Nihonbashitei's Spicy Tuna Sashimi

I always order this with some Spicy Tuna Maki (you can opt also for Spicy Salmon) since the sweetness of the Japanese rice does very well with the spicy kick of the Spicy Tuna Sashimi. The tuna chunks are smaller in the maki and is why I still get a plate of Sashimi to satisfy my cravings.

Nihonbashitei also offers a wide variety of dishes from yakitori to ramen and your popular Japanese meals. Just a tip: it's better to eat in Nihonbashitei during lunch time as they offer set menus that includes rice, soup, sides and dessert! It is very affordable and value for your money!
